Noble Rot, put simply is a process that allows the grape to turn very sweet.
This is a desert wine, or, one for the sweet toothed drinker.
The vineyards are planted with a mixture of 70% Furmint, 20% Harslevelu and 10% Muscat. Yields are restricted to one kilo per vine and ‘Noble Rot’ is encouraged to concentrate the flavours, sugars and acidity producing a luscious sweet wine.
Golden in colour, this wine opens with concentrated aromas of blossom, candied pineapple and apricot, accompanied by refreshing citrus notes. The palate is sweet and rich but with a clear structure, creamy texture and balanced acidity.
